Detroit kicks off free agency by resigning an important piece of their culture and a contributor last season. Isaiah Buggs has been brought back on a two-year, 6 million-dollar deal. Buggs was a terrific vocal leader for the Lions' defense last season and played well at DT. Buggs had only a sack and a forced fumble when it comes to pressure on the QB. However, he had a total of 77 and 6 tackles for loss. Alim McNeil will continue (unless a move is made this off-season) to be the top player at the position for Detroit as he was last season. This is a very good move in my opinion. Good depth, great culture fit, he won't have to do too much, and it was a rather cheap deal. As long as he continues to be a vocal leader for this team, then this will be a successful
