5 Hardest sports leagues to win a championship in

To win it all in your sport it takes dedication, hard work, and perseverance. No matter the sport, it's an uphill battle. But, some athletes/teams have an even more difficult challenge ahead in their sport. Here's the 5 toughest sports leagues to win a championship in...

1.Major League Baseball...

Major League Baseball easily has the longest road to a championship title than any other sport in the world. MLB Athletes play an incredible 162 games in a season from late March to early October. They have to grind it out even longer to win it all. There are 4 stages in MLB'S postseason. The National and American League Wildcard game's, National League and American League divisional series games, National and American League championship games, and of course the World Series where the final two teams from each league meet in a best of 7 series to decide the world champion's.

2.NCAA Basketball Tournament (March Madness Bracket)...

This was a very tough decision, that I went back and forth on with whether or not the NCAA Basketball Tournament should be #1 on the list. Regardless, watching the young future stars of the game of Basketball is always entertaining as one bad game can end their run for glory. Synonyms with March Madness, the term "Bracket Breakers" can help you understand how tough it is to run through the bracket and win it all. In order to win you must take down, one team at a time, and if your good enough you can be one of the last 2 teams left and battle for the trophy.

3.NASCAR...

NASCAR Drivers, similar to MLB players, also have a long road ahead when it comes to winning it all... With their season starting in FEBRUARY and ending at Phoenix Raceway in NOVEMBER. 9 Months of racing and that isn't even what makes it so difficult that it's on the list. Maybe in all of sports the toughest playoff platform is NASCAR'S. Not only is it incredibly difficult to make the playoffs, with 16 drivers making the playoff field. 4 drivers get eliminated after each round of the playoffs. Even the driver that eventually wins the championship trophy will likely face adversity in each round. (RD of 16, RD of 12, RD of 8.) When it's time to settle it, the highest 4 drivers remaining in points, will go head to head in one final race. The championship driver won't have to win the race, but will need to finish higher than the other 3...

4.NHL Stanley Cup...

Although I don't know as much about hockey as other sports, it's easy to recognize and appreciate the level of talent it takes to bring home a Stanley Cup Trophy. NHL'S playoff bracket makes for fun entertainment as unlike Major League Baseball, every round of the NHL playoffs are best of 7 series. Besides Football you can call Hockey the 2nd most physical sport as well.

5. NBA...

Basketball truly is a team sport. To build a perfect roster isn't easy. Potentially the most physically demanding sport in the world is Basketball and NBA players, play nearly everyday. They have a similar playoff platform as MLB. The reason NBA made the list is how much grind they put into a season.
