All Hail The Legend Miguel Cabrera

This man has done it all the past few days.

Just last week Cabrera hit his 500th career homerun to become just the 28th player in the history of the game to do so. He has been a stable player in this game for a long time. He has a triple crown and two MVPs to his name. He literally has done it all.

On Wednesday he made more history... in my gambling life. The Tigers were down to their final out in the top of the ninth against the Cardinals. Detroit trailed 2-1 and decided to bring in Cabrera for what could be his final plate appearance in St. Louis.

He did not disappoint.

So now he's on base with two away, and the announcers keep going on and on about how they need to pinch run for him. The Tigers decide to let the legend stay out there and himself and guess what happened.

His 1500th career run! Not only did the man keep me hype on a Wednesday afternoon, he added another milestone to his legendary career.

The Tigers still lost, and I decided to start writing this during the extra innings, thinking I would get a blog and some money at the same time. I am the king of the Jinx, but still congrats to the King.
