Derek Jeter Is In The Hall Of Fame, LETS APPRECIATE

Jeter heads into the Hall Of Fame Wednesday in Cooperstown. He goes down as one of, if not the greatest player to ever play his position in the history of the game.

Not only does he have the stats to back it up, but five rings to your names doesn't hurt either. Five Silver Sluggers, 14 All-Star games, and a World Series MVP is just more proof in the pudding.

You know what else the guy has? Five Gold Glove awards. That means he was the best defensive player in his league for 25% of his career. There's a lot of haters out there that will say he has some stats that say he didn't have the glove to deserve it, but a Hall of Fame Plaque should shut them up.

Jeter became an Icon in the sport and stayed that way for his entire career. Most people hated the Yankees but loved Derek Jeter. He was the face of baseball for a decade and proved his worth every time he stepped on the field.

Just an all out winner. He is to baseball what Tom Brady is to football. The man go it done when it counted the most.

His name goes down in history today and we should all sit back and appreciate the greatness of what he did until the very last game he played.
