Robbie Grossman has played many years in Major League Baseball and in them many years he has played with 4 different teams, the Houston Astros, Minnesota Twins, Oakland Athletics and he is in the middle of his first season with the Detroit Tigers. This is his 9th season in the bigs and even though he's played that long this has been his career year. He's 1st in career stats in every hitting category this season. It's been much easier for Tigers fans to watch the games this year as they have improved in a big way... Robbie Grossman has been a big part of why the Tigers have played above 500 baseball since May 8th. But the additions of AJ Hinch, Chris Fetter, Akil Baddoo, Eric Haase, Jonathan Schoop, Jose Urena, Willi Peralta has also made the team more successful. But Grossman has made a big impact in the consistent department. He Always works the pitcher's count and normally walks when he gets ahead. But he has big pop left in his bat... He leads the Tigers in homers with 20 and always comes through in big moments. He's also been consistent in games played his entire career but is only 11 games shy of tying a single season high in games played with 138... Grossman will be apart of this Tigers teams run to the postseason next season and hopefully even longer. If he keeps playing at this level he will be a big piece to the Tigers puzzle going forward...
Thanks for reading and have a great day/night
