Wow... 2nd year Lions RB D'Andre Swift was accused of Murder, but according to PD in Philadelphia, the rumor is fake...
NO... D'Andre Swift isn't a suspect in a Philidelphia murder. This afternoon rumors began to spread that police in Philly claimed that Swift was a suspect in the crime. But, now we know that isn't true and Swift wasn't ever thought to be a suspect. It hasn't been announced yet why someone threw this rumor around. Last season Swift was drafted 35th overall by the Detroit Lions. The 22 year old is set to kickoff yr 2 in the NFL on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. But, this news may affect Swift. Why would someone say his name in the first place?. Hopefully he will get answers. In his rookie year (2020) Swift ran 114 times, picked up 521Yards, 46 receptions, 8 TD's. Lions fans should expect Swift to be the most explosive and dynamic player on offense. He will be lead by 1st year head coach Dan Campbell and former Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn will be the offensive coordinater. Lynn was a NFL running back from 1993-1999, he played for the Broncos and 49ers in his career. In 2015 he was hired by the Bills as a Running Back coach and in 2017 he became the Head coach of the Chargers. He was relieved of his duty's in LA and Is now in his first year as offensive coordinater of the Detroit Lions. Lions fans hope Lynn will help give Swift a breakout season with his playbook. Lions also hope he stays healthy... Swift dealt with a concussion and a hamstring injury in 2020 and popped up on Detroit's early injury report for Sunday. But, thankfully Swift looks good to go according to Dan Campbell. Just glad to hear the rumors are false.
