Nobody could see the Lions dominate win over Arizona coming, they came in as +13 underdogs, and after the terrible season they have had, you can understand why. The Cardinals was coming off a loss that was handed to them by the LA Rams, who are lead by former Lions franchise QB Matthew Stafford. Arizona didn't go down without a fight vs LA, it took a last second sack by Star DL and future Hall of Famer, Aaron Donald, to seal the game. The Lions 18 point victory against the Cards gave them the title of the only team in NFL History to to have 1 win or fewer, and beat a team with 10+ by double digits. A big factor in that win was former Practice Squad RB' Craig Reynolds...

Lions sign RB Craig Reynolds to 53 man roster, have him under contract untill after the 2022 season
Craig Reynolds is shockingly only 25 years old... He stands at 5' 11" and runs with explosive power. The man they call "NETFLIX", First introduced himself to his teammates in the huddle at a preseason game against the Buffalo Bills, and in it he made a splash, showing off his power, explosive run game, and athleticism. At home in Ford Field vs the Bills, Reynolds rushed for 49 yards, and a TD, in just 6 carries. He followed up in the 2nd preseason game by rushing for 29 yards, 1 TD, in just 5 carries against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In what was his last appearance before the regular season week 14 match up against the Denver Broncos', he rushed for 9 Yards, on 4 carries against the Colts... Detroit was focused on Jamar Jefferson in the 3rd & final preseason game. Craig Reynolds was gifted the opportunity to make his NFL debut against Denver after the Lions continued injury problem's for they're back field. 2020 2nd RD pick D'Andre Swift is still out after suffering an injury a few weeks ago, Jaamal Williams has remained out, and until recently, rookie RB Jamar Jefferson was injuried, and if the last 2 games has anything to say about it, Godwin Igwebuike won't be given many more handoffs...

Is Craig Reynolds the NFL's next breakout Super Star?
Reynolds was able to impress Dan Campbell enough to trust him carrying the rock in his NFL (Regular Season) Debut, he rushed for 83 yards, on 11 carries and helped set up a Jared Goff to Kalif Raymond touchdown on the road against the Broncos in week 13... The performance certainly got Lions fans attention and I can imagine it got Dan Campbell's attention also... In his breakout performance against the Cards, he rushed for a career high 112 yards, on 26 carries, also a career high... This obviously peaked the interest of Lions GM Brad Holmes, as he promoted Reynolds to the active roster, and SIGNED him through 2022... Giving the Lions a 3 headed monster for the 2022 season with D'Andre Swift, Jaamal Williams, and Reynolds. Jamar Jefferson and Godwin Igwebuike provide great depth as proven to be important in 2022... So, is Craig Reynolds gonna have a similar underdog story as a guy like Kurt Warner?... It's still early to say yes, and still early to say he is gonna be a breakout Super Star, but one thing is certain, he is a very productive player for the Detroit Lions and is on everyone's radar...
