Mets Owner Steve Cohen Is Trashing His Own Team On Social Media

The infamous billionaire is at it again.

It's been a rough going for the Mets the past couple of weeks. They went from being holding a first-place lead in the NL East for a solid two months to third-place with not an easy schedule ahead. The Mets have the top two teams in the National League on their schedule the next eight games, while they've already lost five in a row and 14 of the last 19.

Most owners stay off of social media and express their frustrations within the the clubhouse. Steve Cohen though is built a little bit different.

He’s not wrong. New York is rocking a team .380 slugging percentage and .693 OPS. Both are bottom five in the league. The best hitter on the team number wise is Dominic Smith, and he’s hitting .253.

Fans might not be too happy about an owner calling out a struggling team, especially when he’s usually always trying to be positive.

Well.... Steve doesn’t care what you think.
