This team can literally kick rocks.
It's one thing that they have had the best player in baseball as long as they have and do absolutely nothing with him. It's another thing to have Albert Pujols with him for as long he was and still accomplish nothing. It's ANOTHER thing to have the god of Shohei Ohtani and STILL accomplish nothing.
What the Angels have done the past two days though is the epitome of who the Angels have been the last 10-plus years.
The Angels played Orioles on Wednesday night and scored six run and still lost. The thing that makes it even worse is they Orioles were on a historic 19 game losing streak. So the Angels instead of getting back to .500, went and lost to the literally the worst team in baseball.
That's not it though. It got even worse on Thursday.
The two teams played again on Thursday afternoon in the last game of the series. The pitcher for the Orioles was Keegan Akin who was rocking these stats coming in:
ERA: 7.92
W-L: 0-8
IP: 63.2
Hits allowed: 88
SO they Angels should easily bounce back and get this win right? They should for sure cash the team total over 5.5 runs right? WRONG
Akin shoved against the Angels and got his first win of the season. He gave up a lead-off home run to Ohtani and absolutely nothing happened after that.
The Angels are legitimately the most frustrating team in baseball. They never do anything and the team across town accomplishes everything. Get it together!
