Dan Campbell See's something in Tom Kennedy, as he was added to the 53 man roster...
It's been an interesting few days for the Lions as they trim their roster from 80 to 53. It started off with them cutting WR Breshad Perriman, then they cut WR Geronimo Allison, LB Rashad Perry, LB Jahlani Tavia was waived, RB Dedrick Mullins, RB Craig Renolds was also Cut.
The Lions wide reciever core is raising questions this season. We knew we needed to keep a eye on WR cuts. One of the wide outs that have made the 53 man roster is Tom Kennedy, a 25 year old,
5' 10", 194 lb receiver from New York. He attended Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode island. He is the only NFL player to also play Major League Lacrosse.
The Lions wide reciever room currently look like this:
Amon-Ra St. Brown
Tyrell Williams
Kalif Raymond
Quintez Cephus
Tom Kennedy
Williams having the experience is gonna need to have a career year. St Brown has looked incredible this preseason. Kalif Raymond looks promising. We are expecting a lot from Quintez Cephus and now that we know Kennedy is on the roster he can make a impact on this team.
This is a huge accomplishment for Kennedy and I would like to congratulate him on this incredible accomplishment!
Thanks for the read and sorry this article is short. Have a great day/night
